The Khorgos International Centre of Boundary Cooperation JSC is a public company established under the Agreements between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Government of the People's Republic of China for the purpose of creation of the Khorgos International Center for Transfrontier Cooperation at the Kazakhstan and China border in the Panfilov district of Almaty region.

The World Bank experts have visited JSC "ICBC "Khorgos"

 February 18, 2013 year took place visit of the World Bank Group, headed by senior economist for the Department of Transport for sustainable development in Europe and Central Asia Cordula Rastogi in JSC "International Centre of Boundary Cooperation" Khorgos "(hereinafter - the Centre). Delegation of seven people had visited the train station "Altynkol",  Multifunctional building CPT-1, as well as Chinese part of  ICBC "Khorgos".

From the World Bank at the meeting attended by senior economist of international trade and promote the advancement of trade logistics, Jean-Francois Arvis, and an expert on railways John Winner and others.

During the meeting two sides discussed ways of mutually beneficial cooperation in the implementation of the Project "ICBC" Khorgos ", as well as representatives of the World Bank expressed particular interest in participating in this project.

During a visit to the Centre, guests have seen that at the moment JSC "ICBC" Khorgos" has completed the construction of all major infrastructure projects, and proceeds to the phase of active investment in the construction of commercial buildings.

Necessary to note that the visit of World Bank wasn’t for the first time. October 25, 2011 year there was a round table with representatives of the banking sector, including the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. They discussed possible ways of mutually beneficial cooperation in the project implementation.
